This Tome started with the vintage mirror I found in an antique store and my love of the fantasy genre.
It is made with Handmade paper, Cow leather tanned to look like deer hide, and glass jars.
The jars are filled with bones from a owl pellet science project, semi precious gems, thorns from an orange tree,
salts, teeth from a gift my cat gave me and lavender from my garden. This book took me a month to make

This Tome started with wanting to honor my Norse heritage. After many hours of research, this is my version of a Norse drinking horn. The horn is tooled leather and the book is handmade papers

This Tome started with wanting to honor my Norse heritage. I discovered online this beautiful Viking Dragon head. Using it as an influence I created a full version of the dragon. I then cut it out of board and worked the leather over it to create the raised effect. The book is made of upcycled leather and handmade papers.

This Tome started with discovery of the metal sun rays on a very ugly frame. However the sun raise inspired me to make this book as an ode to the Sun.
I replaced the center with the Huichol Technique of wax and beads and then used this fun spider webbed hand made paper.
